Violent Assumptions
Assumptions are teacher’s best technique (self-devised) to evade sensitive issues. They usually assume someone else is actually responsible for something else. But how long can such assumptions would exist?
Students are with a teacher not just because that’s the system or the protocol but they actually need help.
Its not only the subject knowledge and the pedagogy but life.
Expecting students to be mature & responsible is the biggest immaturity of a teacher.
And, expecting the parents to send their kids well prepared for the classes is another fallacy teachers and institutions are badly relying on.
These are some extremely violent approaches that the teachers and institutions take. I call it violent.
Violent because it kills the learner’s smile.
Violent because it decomposes the curiosity of the learner.
Violent because it degrades the teacher’s capability.
Violent because it superimposes the student’s psyche with that of the teacher.
Violent because it takes the learner into the realm of slavery of ignorance.
Violent because it dents the expectation that the world has from a teacher.
Violent because it makes the entire system stereotypical.
Violent because it will endanger the scope of innovation.
